On May 12, 2023, we celebrated the International Day of Nurses. A formal academy was held in the premises of the Cultural Center in Jagodina, organized by the Association of Health Workers of Serbia, and hosted by the Association from Jagodina. Every year, the Society of Medical Nurses, Technicians and Midwives of Serbia announces a competition and presents awards to the best students of the fourth grade of secondary medical schools and students of the final year of high medical schools from all over the country.

This year, two students of our High Medical College of Professional Studies "Milutin Milankovic", received the aforementioned Award. We are proud of Jelena Vujacic, who completed basic vocational studies and  Bijana Belic, who is a final-year student of basic vocational studies. With their work, knowledge, professional attitude, and good average grade, both students earned the above-mentioned awards BEST STUDENT!

As a sign of recognition and gratitude for the exceptional contribution to the development and professional work of the Association, a Certificate of Appreciation was awarded to our High Medical College of Professional Studies "Milutin Milankovic". The Certificate of Appreciation was received on behalf of the College by Mrs. Svetlana Sentjakov, manager.

The motto of this year's academy is "Our nurses - our future". The president of the Association, Ms. Mr sci.med. Radmila ,President of the Association of Nurses-Technicians and Midwives of Serbia, Mrs. Valentina Nikolic, Prof. Dr. Vicko Ferenc, State Secretary in the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Serbia and  Marija Jovanovic, Deputy Mayor of Jagodina spoke about the importance of work , the education of nurses and technicians at the ceremonial academy. An appropriate cultural and artistic program was held.
