In the amphitheater of the Military Medical Academy, a ceremony was held on the occasion of the 179th birthday of this famous medical, educational and scientific research institution with an international reputation. It is  one of the teaching bases of the High Medical College of Professional Studies "Milutin Milankovic".

In the previous year MMA returned to traditional values: teaching, education, introducing new diagnostic and treatment methods, as well as intensive cooperation with colleagues from civil and international health institutions.

Since its foundation, nurturing a 179-year-long tradition, the Military Medical Academy has become a modern, internationally recognized scientific-research institution with great achievements in preventive medicine, treatment, teaching and scientific-research work.

The ceremony was attended by numerous dignitaries, friends and associates, among whom were Phd Srećko Potić, director and MA Šćepan Sinanović, assistant director for teaching at the High Medical College of Professional Studies "Milutin Milankovic", who congratulated the associates and colleagues from the Military Medical Academy and wished them to continue achieving excellent results by providing high quality healthcare.
